Back in the Workout Saddle

I went back to my workout class today at the Y. I didn't get to workout this past week just because of the hectic week we had, but I had been running and doing the elliptical machine before that for about a week and a half. I love the way excercise makes me feel. I always feel like I can beat up somebody or play a real sport when I get done. It just makes me feel good.

However, at the start of class today, I could see myself in the mirror. It just felt gross to see myself and think that I'm back to square one. I hate that feeling. It's just disheartening.

Oh, stop it! You look great! Really, I thought you looked just beautiful the other night. I wish I could get my hiney to the gym to workout! I'm so undisciplined! I need someone to kick my rear into gear!

Back at square one? First, square one isn't very far back for you. You won't be there for long because you never, ever give up. We need you to teach a class here at the job corp on goal setting. Besides, you must have one of those trick mirrors that make you look....not so slender. Those mirrors lie. You just want to give those of us that need to be working on our bums instead of just sitting on em' something to think about.
I shared my lunch with a couple of the Russian ladies today and when I got back into the kitchen, they had eaten all of my sandwich. Surprised me. We have a ways to go with the ESL. Next class we will have the teacher go over the word "share". Love ya.
It's a wonderful day.

Couple of things. You are so beautiful. You are the opposite of gross. You are full of delight. Delightful!
You make me want to be better at taking care of myself. I am better because of you.
And lastly, any time you feel like beating someone up, you can beat me up. You are one scrappy chik. And I love that about you! I love you.

Jessica Walker! You're crazy! You are so tiny and absolutely beautiful! Remember--you are fearfully and wonderfully made, by the hand of a skilled craftsman.
